4. The geography behind the flow

Peru's travel bags, handbags and cases flow source from a handful of countries that account for most of the value. China led with 86% of 2025 imports, ahead of Viet Nam at 4%, Indonesia at 2%. A market with one dominant origin countrie is brittle: a tariff move or a logistics disruption against that country reroutes the whole flow inside a quarter. 5. Why the average price reads low

The 2025 average landed value ran at $1.98 per unit, but that single number is misleading here. This partida spans very different product families, from HS 420232 near $1.15 per unit to HS 420221 at $41.75, 36 times higher. The blended average sits low because HS 420292 carry the largest share of the value at $1.46 per unit and the lower-priced categories move the most units. A supplier who quotes against the headline number misreads every category. The price that matters is the one for the exact appliance an importer actually buys, and the Radar carries it per company and per product.
