What this Radar is
The World Cocoa Bean Buyers Radar names every company that bought cocoa beans in 2026 from Peru, Ecuador, Mexico and Colombia, as recorded by their export customs: 387 buyers in 51 countries, 4,921 shipments and 306 suppliers. Each buyer appears once, even when customs records write its name in several ways or ship to several of its subsidiaries.
Every buyer, verified and profiled
The 50 largest buyers get one page each:
- Value, tonnes, average price a kilo and shipments in 2026, with its rank among the 387 buyers
- The varieties and attributes its shipments declare: grade, organic, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance and the rest
- Its top 5 suppliers with their share, and the exporting countries it bought from
- Purchases month by month
The other 337 buyers are listed after the profiles with their country, value, volume, price a kilo, main origin and main supplier. Amounts are the minimum each buyer bought: they count only the shipments that customs records declare under its name.
Priced by the kilo, the way the trade quotes it
Across the 4,921 shipments, cocoa beans sold between $3.20 and $9.45 a kilo, at a median of $5.20. Each profile gives the average price that buyer paid, so you can see who buys at the top of the range and who buys in bulk at the bottom.
Two formats, one purchase
The PDF holds the market overview by buyer country, the index of the profiled buyers, their profiles and the full list of the rest.
The Excel lists the 7,350 shipments of 2026 exported by Ecuador, Peru, Mexico and Colombia, one per row, in a single sheet: date, exporting country, exporter, buyer, kilos, value, price, destination, the product classification read from the commercial description, and the description itself. A column marks the shipments the Radar counts.
