I went through the customs export records of the four countries, shipment by shipment, to see who bought, from whom and at what price. I counted the 22,295 shipments that declare a buyer, from January to the latest month each country has published. The price per kilo is the value divided by the net kilos.
If you export blueberry, this list shows which buyers already work with many suppliers and which ones buy from their own farms.
A part of this trade stays inside the group
US$ 221.42 million, 13.5% of the value, moved between companies of one group. Camposol took US$ 94.64 million from its own company in Peru, and Hortifrut US$ 39.72 million. The Fruitist moved US$ 27.15 million inside its group and Family Tree Farms took US$ 26.69 million from Family Farms Perú. Agroberries moved US$ 14.56 million and Surexport US$ 10.87 million. These shipments count in the totals, as customs records them, and I left them out of every price below.
The largest buyers and who sells to them
The 10 largest buyers took 49.0% of the value, and the three largest 17.6%. Driscolls led with US$ 98.67 million from 14 suppliers, at US$ 9.10 per kilo, with 1,349 of its 1,358 shipments from Peru. Agricola Andrea sold it US$ 36.02 million and Blueberries Peru US$ 20.93 million.
United Exports bought US$ 94.01 million from 21 suppliers, at US$ 8.03. Ozblu Sun Farms, in Mexico, sold it US$ 55.60 million, then Danper Trujillo with US$ 6.73 million and Qberries with US$ 5.30 million.
Alpine Fresh is the buyer an independent exporter should study first. It bought US$ 90.33 million from 33 suppliers at US$ 6.87 per kilo, with 668 shipments from Peru and 367 from Mexico, and no company of its own among them. Agricola Sun Berries II sold it US$ 30.78 million, Bomarea US$ 16.44 million and Complejo Agroindustrial Beta US$ 12.06 million.
Berry Fresh bought US$ 77.01 million from 16 suppliers at US$ 8.03, mainly from Agroberries with US$ 31.26 million and Inversiones Agricolas Expoberries with US$ 26.85 million. North Bay Produce bought US$ 75.43 million from 17 suppliers at US$ 7.32. Agricola Cerro Prieto sold it US$ 20.90 million, Intipa Foods US$ 16.32 million and Inversiones Yarabamba US$ 15.38 million.
The Fruitist paid the highest price of the 10, US$ 10.36 per kilo, for US$ 81.99 million. Agro Soil Holding sold it US$ 28.78 million from Mexico and Berries Paradise US$ 16.35 million.
The buyers with the most suppliers
Some buyers spread their purchases widely, and those are the easiest to enter. Shenzhen Oheng, in China, bought from 35 suppliers, for US$ 35.44 million at US$ 8.51 per kilo. Its largest were Blueberries Peru with US$ 7.73 million and Aqu Anqa II with US$ 7.45 million. Frutacloud bought from 27 suppliers and Shenzhen Joy Wing Mau Fruit from 21. In all, 28 buyers took fresh blueberry from 10 or more exporters in 2026.
Few buyers mix origins. Only 46 of the 637 bought from two or more of these four countries, and seven from three. Family Tree Farms is one of them, with 760 shipments from Peru, 103 from Mexico and two from Ecuador. Hortifrut bought from the same three.
Each market has its origin
The United States bought US$ 947.12 million, 57.9% of the value, through 162 buyers. Peru supplied US$ 633.29 million of that and Mexico US$ 310.30 million. Of those 162 buyers, 57 bought only from Mexico.
Europe buys from Peru. The Netherlands bought US$ 305.98 million through 105 buyers, US$ 305.95 million of it from Peru. Ogl Foodtrade led there with US$ 30.25 million, followed by North Bay Produce with US$ 27.00 million and SanLucar Fruit with US$ 22.51 million. The United Kingdom bought US$ 85.50 million, with Direct Produce Supplies at US$ 17.45 million.
Asia buys from Peru as well, with one exception. China bought US$ 87.89 million from 51 suppliers, every shipment from Peru, and Hong Kong US$ 50.40 million through 45 buyers. Japan bought US$ 8.97 million, all of it from Mexico, at US$ 10.77 per kilo. Berries Paradise and Ozblu Sun Farms were its largest suppliers.
Two origins, two halves of the year
Mexico and Peru ship in different months. Mexico sent 11,546 tonnes in March 2026 and 79 in August. Peru sent 953 tonnes in March and 55,097 in August. The average price across both followed the calendar: US$ 6.72 per kilo in January, US$ 9.90 in April, when only Mexico was shipping in volume, and US$ 7.84 in August.
Peru sold US$ 1.31 billion to 530 buyers at US$ 7.75 per kilo. Mexico sold US$ 322.34 million to 124 buyers at US$ 8.63.
A buyer that takes from one origin has half a year of fruit. An exporter from Peru selling to the 57 US buyers that bought only from Mexico would offer them the months they are missing. I would start there, and with the buyers that already take fruit from more than 10 suppliers.
