I went through the customs export records of Peru, Mexico, Colombia and Ecuador, shipment by shipment, to see who shipped fresh blueberry, to whom and at what price. Since January 2025 the records name 387 exporters, 744,184 tonnes and US$ 5.25 billion. Each record names the exporter, the destination, the net kilos and the declared value. The price per kilo is the value divided by the kilos, and leaves out sales between companies of one group. To compare two years I use January to August, the months all four countries have published.
If you import blueberry, these numbers tell you when to buy and from whom.
The calendar sets the price
Peru ships most of its fruit at the end of the year. In 2025 it earned US$ 2.46 billion from fresh blueberry, and 70.9% of that came from September to December. The next names sell to many buyers. Agricola Cerro Prieto sold US$ 94.30 million at US$ 8.69 per kilo, and its value grew 49.1% through August. Variety, route and organic
Variety moves the price. In 2026 Rocio blueberry averaged US$ 9.32 per kilo, Eureka blueberry US$ 9.15 and Rosita blueberry US$ 8.62. Sekoya Pop blueberry, the variety with the most declared value at US$ 290.49 million, sold at US$ 7.86. New names and names that stopped
In 2026, 298 exporters shipped from these four countries. Of those, 79 had no shipments in 2025, and together they sold US$ 63.36 million. Another 89 exporters shipped in 2025 and have no shipments in 2026.
An importer pricing a year of supply should split it by month before splitting it by supplier. I would book the late-year Peruvian fruit early, when the price is lowest, and buy April from Mexico, asking first the exporters that do not ship through a single US buyer.
The Latin American Fresh Blueberry Suppliers Radar lists the 387 exporters, with a profile for the 50 largest, and the Excel holds every shipment.
