I went through the customs export records of Peru (SUNAT), Mexico and Colombia (DIAN) shipment by shipment, from January 2025 to the latest day each one has published: the 21st of October 2026 for Peru, the 31st of August for Mexico and the 28th of August for Colombia. I counted frozen strawberries only, so fresh fruit is not in these figures. The comparisons between years use January to August, the last month all three countries have published. The price per kilo is the value divided by the net kilos, leaving out sales between companies of the same group. Since January 2025, 162 exporters shipped US$ 408.13 million in 8,858 shipments, 187,992 tonnes at US$ 2.15 per kilo.
